Breakfast

We serve traditional, healthy, vegetarian and vegan with all guaranteed freshly made and tasty for both takeaway and dine in.  You can telephone your takeaway order in and we will have it ready for you.  There are a few more options on the dine in menu so make sure you check out the menu before ordering.

Brunch & Lunch

Our breakfast menu is available throughout the day.  We have a choice of two soups every day with at least one gluten free and at least one vegan. Your soup comes with our home-baked bread or you can have a small soup and doorstop sandwich also made on our home-baked bread.  This is what we are famous for.  On top of these there will always be Hot and Cold specials on the board.  These are posted on social media every morning.

COFFEEs, cakes & Teas

We make all our own cakes, traybakes etc and there will always be at least one gluten & dairy free option.  Some times these sell fast so make sure you don’t miss out.  We use Wicked Coffee which comes from a local supplier and use Yorkshire tea as well as a selection of herbal teas.

Buffets, Outside Catering

Please see our corporate lunch/Buffet menu for the different options available.  Sausage rolls, pies, etc are all handmade in the café and are freshly cooked on the day. Our buffets are served on silver platters and will be delivered to your office or event location at the time you request. We can also provide outside catering for larger events.

POSH PICNICS & BBQs

Although these are more of a Spring and Summer offering, we keep them on the website all year for anyone planning ahead for an upcoming event or family gathering.  Saying that, a Posh Picnic is still great fun on the living room floor on Date Night.  Your Posh Picnic comes with a wicker hamper containing crockery, cutlery, tumblers, Manx tartan rug, eco wind-up radio and thermos flask (If you order tea or coffee as part of your picnic). There will be a separate picnic menu in spring/summer or just order from our buffet menu. 

We use a charcoal BBQ.  We will have all the salads and meat prepped in the cafe and transport it to your location in insulated boxes.  We can provide everything from burgers, sausages and chicken skewers to steak and salmon depending on your budget. Get in touch to arrange a bespoke menu.

PRIVATE PARTIES & POP-UP THEMED NIGHTS

Upstairs is available for private parties such as birthdays, family get togethers or baby showers.  We can cater to most culinary requests and have in the past done Afternoon tea for large group birthday parties and Baby showers.

Our Pop-up theme nights have traditionally been held every other Wednesday evening during Autumn, Winter and early Spring.  There will be flyers in the café but keep an eye on social media as they will be advertised.
